An Instagram story fills the whole phone screen in portrait and disappears after a day, which makes it a good fit for news, offers, reminders and a look behind the scenes.

The format is 1080 × 1920 px (9:16). Change the text, colours and pictures in your browser, and upload your own photos and logo. Keep important text away from the very top and bottom of the screen, where the app shows your profile name and the reply field, and keep it brief, as a story is only on screen for a few seconds. Large type and strong contrast make the text easy to read. To tell a story across several screens, add more pages to the same design and download them together as a ZIP file.
